Bob Klein Death, Obituary, Sanford Ambulance

The emergency medical services community mourns the passing of Paramedic Bob Klein, who died on February 9, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center Fargo, surrounded by loved ones. Mr. Klein dedicated nearly forty years to EMS, beginning with EMT certification in 1987 and paramedic licensure in 1995.

A native of Langdon, North Dakota, he balanced his early EMS service with responsibilities on his family’s farm before assuming leadership of the Langdon Ambulance Service. In 2006, he joined F M Ambulance, where he later served as Liaison Coordinator and Lead Educator, significantly impacting EMS training and education.

His career was distinguished by numerous awards recognizing excellence and service at both the state and national levels. Mr. Klein is survived by his wife, Margaret, and is remembered for his professionalism, mentorship, and lifelong commitment to helping others. Funeral arrangements are pending.
