West Monroe Freightliner Crash

WEST MONROE — A tragic I‑20 crash Thursday morning claimed the lives of Clinton Warren, 46, and his passenger Nelson Okuoimose, 45, in a violent collision with another Freightliner box truck. The accident occurred near the Well Road exit when Warren’s blue 2012 Freightliner drifted into the adjacent lane, striking the other truck and sending both vehicles into concrete bridge supports.

Both men were unrestrained and died at the scene, while the second truck’s driver, who was wearing a seat belt, escaped with minor injuries. Troopers from the Louisiana State Police and local crews managed the scene and are continuing the investigation.
