Santa Fe High School Lockdown, Active Shooter, Investigation On-Going

A reported threat involving firearms and possible explosives prompted a full lockdown at Edmond Santa Fe High School, drawing a significant police response and widespread concern among parents.

Police say an anonymous individual called in claiming to be armed inside a bathroom at Edmond Santa Fe High School. In response, the Edmond Police Department initiated emergency protocols, securing the campus and conducting a comprehensive search.

After clearing the building, officers determined the threat was not credible. No evidence of weapons or explosives was discovered, and no injuries occurred. The lockdown has since ended, though authorities continue investigating the source of the hoax call.
