The Ottawa community and surrounding areas of Orléans, Russell, and Chesterville are mourning the passing of Robert Cole Sullivan, who left this world at the age of 32. Cole was a devoted husband, beloved son, cherished brother, proud uncle, and a tradesman whose dedication and generosity left a lasting impression.

At Carlsbad Paving, Cole earned high praise as an MVP, admired for his skill, commitment, and camaraderie. His colleagues remember him not only for his professionalism and expertise but also for the leadership, loyalty, and positive energy he brought to every team.

Above all, Cole cherished his family. He shared a loving marriage with Kelsey McClymont, and was a devoted son to Bonnie Sproule and Shane Provost of Russell, and Rob and Laura Sullivan of Chesterville. Cole was also a supportive brother to Stephanie Provost (Christopher Triemstra) and a proud uncle to Anthony, Aiden, and Jakob. His devotion to family was a defining feature of his life.

Friends and loved ones recall his warmth, humor, and generosity. Whether through laughter, thoughtful actions, or quiet presence, Cole made lasting impressions on everyone he met.

A life celebration will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall, 1171 Smith Road, Navan, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., where family and friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories.

Though taken far too soon, Cole Sullivan’s legacy endures through the relationships he nurtured, the work he pursued with dedication, and the love he gave unconditionally. He will be remembered as a skilled tradesman, loyal friend, and above all, a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle.
