Two people were found fatally shot inside a South Side Chicago residence Wednesday evening, prompting an ongoing homicide investigation. Officials have identified the victims as Harry Kirkpatrick, 70, and Ann Kirkpatrick, 43, who both lived at the address where the shooting occurred.

Officers responded shortly after 8 p.m. on February 11, 2026, to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the victims unresponsive within the home. Authorities confirmed that the female victim sustained a gunshot wound to the face, while the male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
