Kayli Lopez Oak Cliff Shooting, Death, Obituary Dallas

DALLAS — What began as an ordinary Tuesday night in Oak Cliff turned deadly when gunfire tore through a passing SUV, claiming the life of 24-year-old Kayli Lopez. According to police, the shooting occurred near the Wynnewood Village shopping area when occupants of another vehicle fired more than three dozen rounds into the Cadillac she occupied.

The impact of the gunfire caused the SUV to crash into another vehicle on South Zang Boulevard. Lopez was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead at a hospital. The 21-year-old man with her survived and is recovering from his injuries.

Authorities have yet to announce any arrests or publicly identify suspects. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives seek answers in a case that has shaken the local community. Funeral arrangements, memorial service information, and Lopez’s obituary will be announced soon by her family.
